Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica (Adults Only) - Runaway Bay

Adults-only luxury resort steps from Runaway Bay's white-sand beaches

Dining

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica Runaway Bay offers more than 5 on-site restaurants serving international cuisine, including specialty options at Don Pablo and Mikado. The Nyam buffet provides Jamaican dishes such as curried goat and ackee with codfish, while the jerk hut on the beach prepares fresh fried fish daily. Guests can also book à la carte meals at the Knife steakhouse and the Japanese hibachi restaurant for an alternative dining experience.

Wellness & Activities

The full-service spa offers a range of treatments including body scrubs, facials, and couples massage, with access to a spa lounge, hot tub, and solarium. A fitness center with complimentary classes is available, along with yoga sessions and a variety of land sports like tennis, badminton, and mini golf. Guests can also use the on-site bicycle rental, canoeing equipment, and snorkelling gear for active days.

Pools & Water Park

Three outdoor pools are available, including a pool with a water slide and a separate kids' pool, though the resort is adults-only so the kids' pool is part of the wider complex. The hotel provides sun loungers, umbrellas, and a pool bar for refreshments. A complimentary water park is on the property, giving guests access to slides and water features without extra charge.

Rooms & Grounds

Suites at Bahia Principe Grand Jamaica include air conditioning, a coffee machine, balcony, and a spa bath in the private bathroom. The resort's grounds feature Victorian-style architecture and colonial gardens, with outdoor furniture, a terrace, and a garden for relaxation. Each room also offers a sofa, desk, and ironing facilities for guest convenience.

Location & Entertainment

The hotel is located steps from Cardiff Hall Beach and within 6 km of Puerto Seco Beach Park, with the White Witch Golf Course nearby for golf enthusiasts. Evening entertainment includes live music, themed dinner nights, karaoke, and a nightclub, while daytime activities feature bingo, darts, and live sport events. Shops on site offer local crafts, and a chapel is available for weddings or quiet reflection.
